Adding Numbers from Notepad to the Phone Book
During a call, you can use your phone as a notepad or
scratchpad to record a phone number. Once the call in
progress is ended, you can either dial the notepad phone
number (see “Dialing a phone number on notepad” on
page 8) or you can store the notepad number to the
phone book. With the notepad phone number displayed,
press

. As prompted, enter a name and com-
plete the phone book addition following the steps
described in “Add to Phone Book” on page 19.
The phone book entries can be recalled using the name
stored with the phone number, the speed dial location
number, or the phone number itself.
View by Name
To recall a phone book entry by name, press

Enter the first letter(s) of the desired phone book entry
name and press

. If necessary, press the

key to locate
the phone book entry. Press
S
to dial the phone number
or press
E
to exit the phone book.
