Pull out the outer rail (sliding rail for rack side), put the server on 19-inch rack while aligning the
inner rail (sliding rail for server side) with the outer rail.

CAUTION

Note sufficiently that your fingers may not be caught between a rail and another
mechanical part when pressing the release lever.

Release lever

IMPORTANT:

Push the server into the rack until the release lever on the sliding rail is
locked with clicking sound. Then, press the release lever to push the
server to the end.

While making sure that the inner rail engages with the outer rail, push the
server into the rack.

Do not connect any cables to the rear of the server. Cables must be
connected after installing the cable arm.

Pull out or push the server into the rack for several times to make the
inner and outer rails move smoothly. (You may feel friction in first
installation.)

Be sure to fix the server to the rack with the two thumbnuts (used for
securing the front cover) when containing the server in the rack.

When pulling out the server from the rack, pull it until the release lever is
locked with clicking sound.
