INTRODUCTION
Target Readers
This manual is intended for users who design and develop application systems using
V850E1, V850E/MA1, V850E/MA2, V850E/SV2, V850E/IA1, and V850E/IA2
microcontrollers.
Purpose
Debugging can be performed efficiently with these emulators (IE-V850E-MC, IE-
V850E-MC-A) connected to a dedicated option board when designing and developing
application systems using V850E1, V850E/MA1, V850E/MA2, V850E/SV2, V850E/IA1,
and V850E/IA2 microcontrollers.
The purpose of this manual is to describe the proper operation of the IE-V850E-MC
and IE-V850E-MC-A and their basic specifications.
Organization
This manual is broadly divided into the following parts.
• Overview
• Connection of parts
• Names and functions of parts
• Shipment settings
How to Read This Manual
It is assumed that the reader of this manual has general knowledge in the fields of
electrical engineering, logic circuits, and microcontrollers.
