With PCI Card Customized Configuration Service (NE3300-SV408) 

 
Starting from the PCI cards with higher priority (see the table below), PCI cards are installed to the PCI slots 

with higher priority among the available slots per CPU configuration (see the table below). The following basic 
rules are applied to BTO configuration. If any other specific installation requirements, BTO configuration will 
not be applied. 

Please order this customized service when no HDD is included in the ordered configuration for FC SAN boot. 

Please order this customized service when connecting Flash Back-up Unit to External RAID Controller. 

 

 

[Basic Rules for PCI Card Installation] 

 

The 1

st

 RAID Controller or FC Controller needs to be installed to Slot#1. 

 

The 2

nd

 RAID Controller (if any) will not be installed (out of BTO) 

 

Up to 7 External RAID Controllers and SAS Controllers can be installed. 

 

In case of having 9 slots available: 

 

Up to 7 cards for the cards with Priority 1-4 can be installed 

 

Up to 7 cards for the cards except 1000BASE-T Adapter (2ch/4ch) and SAS Controller can be 
installed 

 

In case of having 13 slots available: 

 

Up to 11 cards for the cards with Priority 1-6 can be installed 

 

Up to 11 cards for the cards except 1000BASE-T Adapter (2ch/4ch) and SAS Controller can be 
installed 

 

In case of having 16 slots available: 

 

Up to 14 cards for the cards with Priority 1-6 can be installed 

 

Up to 14 cards for the cards except 1000BASE-T Adapter (2ch/4ch) and SAS Controller can be 
installed 

 

Up to 12 cards for 10G-BASE Adapter (SFP) and External RAID Controller can be installed
