External Connect

USB

Connecting e606 to a PC with an USB cable enables the PC to use e606 just like the modem to establish a

PPP connection to the Internet service provider by dialup. However, you will find that the USB connection will

provide a much faster transfer rate than a standard modem.
USB connection also enables data transfer to and from the PC. Refer to 

To/From PC

 on page 123 for

details.

To Establish a Dialup Connection for a PC with an USB Cable

Insert the USB cable to the I/O connector of e606 and the USB 

hub on the PC.

Note :

Use the USB cable attached to e606.

Note :

Insert the USB cable vertically to e606 (do not insert it at 

an angle).
