The function settings and the memory can be returned to the factory settings.
Connection Settings Connections : Selects which group of devices to establish
Bluetooth connections with. Settings: Paired devices only
(connects only the registered devices automatically, and does
not pair new devices) and Allow all devices (connects all
Bluetooth supporting devices detected automatically).
Authentication : Turns the automatic device entry function on/
off. When the authentication of a newly detected Bluetooth
device succeeds, the authentication information is generated.
This function saves the generated information and the device’s
information automatically to the paired device list. The next time
e606 is connected to the device, you will be able to establish a
connection without authentication (exchanging the Passkey).
Note : If the authentication information is lost by the device on
the paired device list for some reason, another exchange
of the Passkey will be required.
Settings: Automatic (on) and Manual (off)
Unused Timer : Sets the timer for power saving. Input the time in
minutes (01-15 mins.). When there is no PPP communication
request for the set time interval after Bluetooth wait screen or
connection complete screen is displayed, this timer displays the
Bluetooth end screen or disconnection screen respectively.
Terminal Information Note : Displays e606’s Bluetooth profile information. This
information includes Device name , Bluetooth address ,
Device type and Service type .
Note : The default device name is NEC606 . This name can be
edited.
Item Description
Setting Reset Resets the function settings.
Memory Reset Resets all the personal data registered in the memory. This
requires the Code Number to avoid accidental operation.
Note : Refer to page 86 for details on the Code Number.
