Installation

Installing the Power Supply

Power Supply Installation

The power supply provides the DC power sources required to operate the system.

To install a power supply:

Slide the power supply into the CN101 slot.

Using a long-shaft phillips head screwdriver,

tighten the two screws that secure the power supply

A DSX-160 may require up to 3 power supplies (depending on system con

guration), using slots CN101,

CN102 and CN103. Refer to

System Preparation

(page 21) for more.

When installing multiple power supplies in DSX-160:

Install the

rst supply in slot

CN10

Install the second supply in slot

CN10

Install the third supply in slot

CN10
