Signal Strength and OSD Diagnostic Messages

When a receiver is connected to a monitor, self-explanatory diagnostic messages are displayed in the lower
left corner of the screen to inform the user of the receiver’s current status.

The messages will be displayed for 15 seconds, with the exception of

Search for transmitter wireless signal

failed

and

No wireless signal detected: ss=0 vm=NONE

.

Search for transmitter wireless signal failed

 and

No wireless signal detected: ss=0 vm=NONE

 will be dis-

played until remedial action is taken.

When the

No wireless signal detected: ss=0 vm=NONE

message and/or the 1-bar graph are displayed on the

screen, the wireless link is unreliable and

requires immediate remedial action

.

The

Signal Strength bar graph

is displayed in the lower right corner of the receiver’s monitor for 60 seconds

at power up. It is also displayed when the link is established following a link disconnect.

When the link quality is poor or bad the bar graph is automatically displayed to alert the user that

remedial

action is required

.

The

OSD messages

are displayed below the signal-strength bar.
