Replace the protective cover on the rear of the 
printer.

Switch ON the ATM power.

Wait for the operator display to display State Of 
Health messages (this may take up to 5 minutes after 
switching the power on).

15

Follow your in-house procedures for indicating that 
you have replaced the journal printer print head.

Push the printer back into the ATM until it clicks into 
place.

17

If your ATM does not have the auto-supervisor 
option, press the switch on the operator panel to the 
NORMAL position.

Close and lock the ATM door.
