Turn on control unit using the side toggle switch. One

Set Target Range
The therapist needs to set the correct upper and
lower limits. Make sure the two dials are in the
following default positions:
•
Upper limit dial fully clockwise (maximum
position)
•
Lower limit dial fully anti-clockwise (minimum
position).
Firstly, program the lower limit. Turn this Lower Limit
dial clockwise until you hear a sound from the
speaker simultaneously the target weight is being put
through the insole.
Now get the upper limit by turning this dial
anticlockwise, until you hear a sound from the
speaker while weight is being put through the insole.
Finesse this dial a little (by turning clockwise) to
create your window.
In summary, when the
client’s
partial weight on the
insole is between the lower and upper limit values,
the client will hear no sound. If the weight shift is
outside these two limits, then the client will receive
feedback. The sound changes and increases in pitch
the further away the client gets from the target range.
Before using the headphones turn the volume control
back to minimum then slowly increase until the sound
is comfortable for the user.
