Using the Essential Load Unit
Before turning on the control unit:
Choose the correct size insole for the user. Left or
Right. Your unit comes with six sizes of insoles.
These should become the user’s to keep. You can
order more insoles via our website, or by contacting
us by email at
Replacement or extra insoles are available in pairs
from size 35
–
47 (Euro
–
Sizing). All insoles are
designed for taking the two sensor pads.
Take the heel and forefoot sensors.

Attach them on the Velcro on the heel and forefoot
underneath your insole.
Remove existing insole.
Put nCounters insole with sensors inside a runner
(sneaker).
User places foot into shoe. Plug each of the two
cables to the double adaptor, connected to the curly
cable.
Connect the plug to the input socket
of the Control Unit.
Ask user to press up and down on insole for 10
seconds to condition the sensors.
Ask user to place foot on set of scales to get weight
above which the user is to receive no feedback.
