D. What is the Find My network? And how does it work?
The Apple Find My network provides an easy, secure way to locate compatible
personal items on a map using the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, iPod
touch, Mac, or the Find Items app on Apple Watch. Simply pair your compatible
product with the Apple Find My app to view it right alongside your Apple devices.
If your item ever goes missing, you can put it in Lost Mode to display a message
and contact information to anyone who might find it. The Find My network is
encrypted and anonymous, so no one else, not even Apple, can view its
location.
4.3.4 Instructions for battery tag button
Note: When pairing your device with the app, you need to link to Apple's servers. If you cannot pair your device, the
network you are using is usually unable to link to Apple's servers. The following actions are recommended:
1. Change the phone network, such as: switch between WIFI and phone network.
2. Factory Reset.
3. Re-pair with the app.

First, remove the item from the app, after the device is powered on, double-click the button.

press and hold the button for about 8 seconds until the device beeps again and the light flashes
3 times. Release the button to complete factory reset.
The device will beep, the light will flash 3 times, and the device
will be turned on.

powered off.
The device will beep, the light will flash once, and the
device enters the pairing state and can be paired with the app
again.
The device does not ring, the device is off.
When the device is paired and connected to the app, the

device beeps long and the light flashes 3 times.
When the device is not paired with the app, the device beeps.
