PPE
(Personal
Protective
Equipment)
When
operating
this
trailer
or
carrying
out
a
maintenance
task,
the
following
PPE
must
always
be
used:
‐
‐
Ear
protection
to
protect
the
operators
hearing
if
loading
stones
or
other
materials
which
create
an
impact
noise.
Also,
when
carrying
out
maintenance
tasks
where
noise
may
be
created.
‐
Safety
glasses
to
protect
the
operator’s
eyes
from
dust/dirt
or
hydraulic
oil
when
carrying
out
maintenance.
‐
Waterproof,
non
‐
slip
footwear
with
a
steel
toe
cap
to
help
prevent
the
operator
slipping
and
prevent
injury
from
a
falling
object.
The
operator
must
ensure
the
work
area
is
kept
tidy
and
free
from
debris
to
help
prevent
slips
and
trips.
‐
Safety
gloves
to
prevent
injury
to
fingers
or
hands.
Also,
to
prevent
dermatitis
connecting
hydraulic
hoses.
‐
Some
sites
may
require
a
safety
helmet
to
protect
the
operator
from
falling
objects.
It
is
recommended
to
wear
a
safety
helmet
when
loading/unloading
with
ramps.

not
being

persons
as

result
of
an
unsafe
working
environment

Failure
of
the
machine
functions

Hazards
for

by
an
oil
spill
Non
‐
compliance
with
instructions
does
not
only
lead
to
hazards
for
man
and
machine
but
might
also
significantly
reduce
the
service
life
of
the
machine.
