Connection Example 2 If Using a PLC as the Higher-level Host to Control the Unit
*1 Set the terminating resistor settings of all units to be connected to the repeater hub to “ON”.
Factory default settings for connector type are set to "ON".
*2 The above shows an example when connecting a EPU-210-B. When connecting a EPU-
220-B to the repeater hub, please refer to the
EPU-220 instruction manual.
・ Install a terminating resistor (120 Ω) between communication line terminals "SDA" and
"SDB" on the PLC side.
・ Be sure to use the cables for a repeater hub with a maximum extension of less than 30 m (98 ft).
