Display Functions

Auto Focus

To activate the auto focus, simply press the focus button for a short moment.
During the auto focus mode a LED will come up. To switch it off just press the
button again.

This function can also be done with a hand remote control.  If the auto focus
function is on, you can also use the manual correction. This overdrive function is
indicated with a blink on the focus LED.

Remote Control Connector

Timer

The SUPERNOVA 10K has a timer included to forward the slides. It is program-
mable between 2 and 99 seconds.

Programming the Interval Between the Slides

Press the timer button for at least 2 seconds and hold it for the desired interval
(the red LED flashes for  every second, for example, 8 flashes equals 8 sec-
onds). If you have reached your desired time, stop pressing the button. Now, the
timer is programmed.

Activating the Timer

Simply press the timer button for a short moment and the cycle will start non-
stop. The set time interval will remain in the projector’s memory even if the
projector is turned off.

Autoshow

The SUPERNOVA 10K includes an autoshow feature which is a useful tool when
using the timer to advance slides.

When using autoshow, the timer starts at slide 1 and advances the tray forward.
Autoshow recognizes if a slide is in the gate.  If there is a break of 2 empty slide
slots, autoshow will initiate a rapid homing and the cycle will start again with the
next available slide.

Remote Start

With a simple permanent closure contact connecting pin 9 and 5, the lamp will
ignite and the SUPERNOVA 10K will start operating.

After disconnecting pin 9 and 5, the unit will switch off the lamp and a 3 minute
after-cooling period will follow.  After that time it will return to stand-by mode.
