If the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler must be
removed from the engine the coolant should be drained
before removal. See

for the removal
and installation procedure.

Remove coolant drain plug from bottom of oil system
module.
8.
After coolant has drained, install the coolant drain plug and
tighten to 28 N·m (18 lbf·ft).
