WARNING
To prevent death, serious injury, or property
damage:
●
Ensure that the boiler is filled with water
before turning on the boiler for the first
time. Turning on a boiler that is not filled will
damage the boiler and result in property
damage, severe personal injury, or death.
Such damage is not covered by warranty.
●
At initial fill up and during boiler startup and
testing, check system thoroughly for leaks.
Repair all leaks before proceeding further.
●
Before starting the boiler, smell near the floor
and around the boiler for gas odorant or any
unusual odor. Remove the boiler front door
and smell interior of boiler enclosure. Do not
proceed with startup if there is any indication
of a gas leak.
●
If overheating occurs or the gas supply fails
to shut off, do not turn off electrical power
to the circulating pump. Turning off the
circulation pump may aggravate the problem
and increase the chance of boiler damage.
Instead, shut off the gas supply to the boiler
at the manual gas valve.
●

in property damage, severe personal injury,
or death.
