Wiring Instructions
Note: Wire directly behind DVD changer.
1. Cut the wires going to pin (1) and pin (11) on the factory harness from DVD changer to vehicle radio.

9. Connect the Cluster USB cable to the Cluster module. (Have the “A” connector side of the cable accessible to
the passenger side of the vehicle cabin, but hidden from view. Label USB cable Cluster.
10. Connect the VIM USB cable to the VIM module. (Have the “A” connector side of the cable accessible to the
passenger side of the vehicle cabin, but hidden from view. Label USB cable VIM.

witch does not need to be used and the wire from Pin (4) White/Red does not need to be connected. If

2. If the vehicle is equipped with a factory iPod interface, the wires at pins 1 and 11 on the DVD changer will both
be Brown. When the vehicle has no iPod interface, those wires will be Yellow/White and Yellow, respectively.
3. The CAN wires must be cut at the DVD changer and our modules must be connected in-line with those CAN
wires.
4. All connections must be soldered to ensure reliability.
