Battery Instruction
Battery Instruction
Battery installation:
1) Ensure the master switch is in off position (Fig.11).
2) Always ensure the seascooter is out of water, dry and
placed in dry area.
3) Release the battery door locking screw according to Fig.3
step 1.
4) Slide out the battery door (Fig.3 step 2).
5) Make sure the terminals 0-rings on the battery and battery
compartment are in its position, clean and dry (Fig.9).
6) Align the groove on the battery and the tongue inside the
battery compartment, slide in the battery (Fig.4).
7) Lock the battery (Fig.5 step 1,2,3).
8) Close the battery door (Fig.6 step 1).
9) Lock the battery door (Fig.6 step 2).
To remove the battery for charging:
1) Unlock the battery (Fig.7 step 1,2).
2) Pull out the battery (Fig.8).
• Use the specified charger only.
• Must be disposed of properly.
• Do not incinerate, disassemble, damage,
short-circuit or expose to heat.
• The battery contains safety and protection
devices which, if damaged, may cause the
battery to generate heat, rupture or ignite.
• DO NOT THROW WATER ON A BURNING
LI-ION BATTERY. If an exposed battery does
ignite, it will burn even more violently if it
comes into contact with water or even the
moisture in air. A fire extinguisher must be
used.
• Do not expose the battery to water or salt
water, or allow the battery to get wet when
seascooter is not in use.
• Do not subject the battery to strong impacts
or shocks.
• Do not pierce the battery with nails, strike
the battery with a hammer, step on the
battery, or otherwise damage the outer
casing.
• MUST re-charge the battery after EACH USE.
• MUST re-charge the battery at least EVERY
SIX MONTHS when not in use.
• ALWAYS REMOVE the battery from the
Seascooter FOR STORAGE.
• Never leave Lithium-Ion batteries discharged
for long - the batteries do self-discharge and
the charge could drop low enough to
damage the battery.
• Always store the battery partially discharged
in a cool, dry and well-ventilated areas where
it is out of reach of children and away from
ignition sources.
• Do not place the battery in fire, direct
sunlight or other high temperature locations.
Do not apply heat to the battery. Doing so
may cause the battery to generate heat,
rupture, or ignite. Using the battery in this
manner may also result in a loss of
performance and a shortened life
expectancy.
• Always keep the battery terminals clean.
• To prevent short-circuiting or fire, keep the
battery away from other metal objects when
carrying or storing.
• To prevent short-circuiting or fire, always
ensure the charging area is safe during
charging.
