To provide power to your camera, connect an unused power connector
from the ATX power supply on your computer to the camera power
ATX connector on your NI 8255R.

Replace the computer cover.
10. Connect the IEEE 1394 cable to your camera. Refer to your camera
manufacturer documentation for specific instructions about how to
connect the IEEE 1394 cable to your camera.
11. Connect the IEEE 1394 cable to an IEEE 1394 connector on the
NI 8255R front panel. Refer to Figure 2 for the location of the
IEEE 1394b bilingual connectors on the NI 8255R. If you are using an
IEEE 1394a cable, an IEEE 1394a to IEEE 1394b adapter is required.
Alternatively, you can use an IEEE 1394a to IEEE 1394b cable.
12. Plug in and power on the computer.
The NI 8255R is now installed and your camera is connected.
Refer to Figure 2 for information about placement of the connectors on the
NI 8255R.
