Remove the bracket blank from the chassis by unscrewing the
retention fastener and sliding the bracket out in the direction shown in
Figure 3. You may need a 6 mm wrench or small adjustable crescent
wrench (not included in the kit) to loosen the fastener.

Insert one end of the ribbon cable included with the battery pack
accessory kit into the 12-pin connector labeled
J1
on the battery pack
card, as shown in Figure 4.
