Complete the following steps.
1.
Align the antenna with the RP-SMA connector as shown above and screw on the antenna.
2.
Point the antenna up for best coverage.
Inserting the NI 9796 into a CompactRIO
Controller
To use the NI 9796, adhere to the following requirements:
•
Use the NI 9796 with a cRIO-9065 CompactRIO controller.
•
Insert the NI 9796 into the first slot only.
•
Keep the other slots of the controller empty. The NI 9796 must be the only module in the
controller.
