Overview of the NI 9467
The NI 9467 is a stationary GPS timing mod
u
le for C Series
platforms. It provides acc
u
rate timing and geographic location
information to the C Series host, which enables synchronization of
C Series systems.
At start-
u
p, the NI 9467 a
u
tomatically begins determining its
location thro
u
gh a process known as
self-survey
. D
u
ring the
self-s
u
rvey, the mod
u
le comp
u
tes a location fix every second and
averages the locations at the end to obtain a more acc
u
rate location.
After the self-s
u
rvey, the NI 9467 no longer comp
u
tes new location
fixes; it
u
ses its known location and satellite signals to generate
acc
u
rate timing signals.
