Remove the expansion bridge connector covers only from the expansion bridge connectors
that will connect to the expansion bridge.
Caution
You must replace the expansion bridge connector covers if you remove the
NI 2806 expansion bridge.

Insert the NI PXI-2800 carriers in adjacent positions in the chassis. For carrier installation
instructions, refer to the
NI Switches Getting Started Guide
.
6.
Ensure that you hold the expansion bridge in the correct orientation as shown in Figure 2.
Note the THIS EDGE UP silk screen on the PCB.
