ENGLISH
Congratulations! You have just bought the best compressor in the market.
Read the following booklet carefully and follow these instructions before you start using the compressor so you can become
familiar with the machine in order to make full use of its potential without endangering your safety or damaging the appliance. The
CE marking indicates that the compressor meets European Union standards EEC Directives 2006/42/EC, 2009/105/EC,
2004/108/EC, 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/EC, 93/68/EEC, EN292/2, EN 294, EN 60204-1.
Safety precautions
Strictly observe the following safety measures:
1.
Move the compressor by suitable means to avoid exerting excessive effort to the upper and lower limbs.
2.
Sound pressure is below 80 dB (A), however in case of prolonged use it is recommended the use of protectors such as
headphones.
3.
Do not move the compressor while in operation as this may cause health risks for exposure to vibrations to your limbs
(hand-arm).
4.
If the machine is not working properly, please do not try any electrical or mechanical repairs of any kind. Contact your
supplier immediately.
5.
Do not use the compressor in environments that do not allow proper circulation of air.
6.
Do not vent toward flames, heat sources, people and animals.
7.
Please avoid, above all the use in very hot climates or during Summer, a prolonged exposure of the machine to the direct
sun light, in order not to overheat plastic parts, the working temperature should be b5 and +50 ° C.
8.
Keep away from the function of children and animals.
9.
Do not use the compressor in humid or dusty environment.
10.
Do not tamper with safety devices and regulation.
Starting the machine.
Make sure no damages due to carelessness or negligence occurred during transportation, before you start
the machine. If this should be the case, notify the dealer or transportation company immediately. After having checked the
equipment observe the following instructions:
a.
Remove the electric cable and insert the plug in a current collector of adequate power. Make sure if fits tightly and it
ensures the connection of the poles of the plug to the grounding. Make sure the mesh voltage corresponds to the value
indicated on the table of the fairing.
b.
To help the electric motor start, make sure the air hose in not under pressure and the air outlet cock is open.
c.
Start the electric motor by operating on the switch (ref. 2 fig. A).
Use.
The compressor is equipped with two air flow adjusters (ref. 6 fig. A) which enables the operator to control the working
pressure. Said pressure is measured with the manometers (ref. 4-8 fig. A). The regulator adjusts the color
BLACK
maximum
pressure up to 10 bar, the pressure regulator regulates the pressure
RED
0 to 30 Bar.
CAUTION:
Use only accessories which are suitable for pressures of 30 Bar. Do not use common accessories, without first having
checked their actual working pressure, thus avoiding serious risks for the operator.
Connect the chosen accessory to the air outlet cock (ref. 7-9 fig. A) and, keeping it closed, operate on the knob of the regulator (ref.
6-10 fig. A) until the desired working pressure is reached. After this operation is completed, open the cock until the needed air
capacity is reached. Keep in mind that, by alternately adjusting both the regulator and the cock, an optimal pressure air ratio can be
obtained.
Turning the machine off.
The compressor is equipped with an air pressure switch (ref. 3 fig. A) which automatically controls the
starting and turning off procedures of the compressor electric motor; nevertheless, to stop the compressor independently from the
air pressure switch, use the general red switch (ref. 2 fig. A).
The discharge pressure of the pump unit takes place via the solenoid
valve (fig. ref.11) at power off.
IMPORTANT: Never stop the motor by unplugging the unit! Unplug the power cable ONLY after the compressor is switched off.
Maintenance.
Unscrew the filter (ref. 1 fig. A) and clean it periodically using an air jet moving from the center to the outside.
Because of the rapid expansion of the air inside the compressor tank, the humidity in the air condensates. It is therefore necessary
to periodically discharge the condensate from the tank by unscrewing the drain plug (ref. 5 fig. A) and slightly tilting the tank.
Important.
The electric motor is protected by a thermic circuit breaker: the thermal protection switch device is activated when the
motor overheats and causes sudden stop or intermittent operation of the compressor.
In this case, make sure that:
a.
The network voltage corresponds to the one indicate on the label.
b.
The maximum calibration pressure of the pressure switch is lower than or equal to the pressure indicated on the label.
c.
No strange noise or vibration is noticeable when the compressor is in operation.
Warranty.
The compressor is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from purchase date against manufacturer defect. It is
important to keep the original purchase document (invoice or similar) to vouch for the validity of the warranty. It is furthermore
necessary to use the compressor as indicated in this booklet and show it has not been tampered with. The warranty covers only the
replacement of those parts which are faulty because of assembly or manufacturer defects. All transportation or operation fees are
for account of the client.
Recycling
: Please do not dispose of the compressor in the environment as waste. The compressor must be collected
recycled or recovered as per the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive 2002/96/EC.
