3) Start Localization – Drive an “L” Pattern
To get the fastest and most reliable
localization result possible, the most practical
approach has proven to be as follows:
› Drive 3 to 4 kilometers straight ahead in
one direction
› Then look at the heat map and turn left or
right depending on the result and drive
again some kilometers
