CAUTION: Before proceeding with conversion the gas supply must be shut off prior to disconnecting the electrical power.

Remove the media from the appliance.
2.
Remove the two screws securing the burner assembly in place (FIG. 1). Lift the assembly up and out of the appliance.
3.
Remove the two screws securing the orifice bracket in place (FIG. 2).
4.
Using a deep socket wrench, remove the orifice from the bracket. A back up wrench must be used on the manifold, located behind
the orifice bracket, to ensure the flex does not twist or kink. Using a pipe thread compound, replace with the orifice supplied (#32 for
NG, #48 for P).
This conversion kit shall be installed by a qualified service agency in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions and all applicable codes and requirements of the authority having
jurisdiction. If the information in these instructions is not followed exactly, a fire, explosion
or production of carbon monoxide may result causing property damage, personal injury or
loss of life. The qualified service agency is responsible for the proper installation of this kit.
The installation is not proper and complete until the operation of the converted appliance is
checked as specified in the owner instructions supplied with the kit.

Remove the two screws from the valve regulator, remove the regulator, and replace with the one supplied.

Remove the pilot hood from the pilot assembly by removing the retaining clip and pulling vertically.
(NOTE: you
will need to bend the pilot shield up to be able to remove the pilot hood)

” Allen key to
unscrew the injector. Replace the pilot injector with the one supplied. Re-assemble the pilot hood onto the
assembly, ensuring key position for proper alignment. Reinstall retaining clip.
8.
Fill out the conversion data label and attach adjacent to the valve.
9.
Re-install the orifice bracket, ensuring the burner fits over the burner orifice, then reinstall the burner assembly.

Turn on the gas supply, then light the pilot (refer to the lighting instructions in your installation manual) to ensure
the gas lines have been purged.

Check for gas leaks by brushing on a soap and water solution.
Do not use open flame.
Once all systems have
been checked, replace the media.
