Press the AWAY button.
The Touchpad will voice prompt the correct action.

If you change your mind after pressing
AWAY
, press
RESET
to clear arming.
The LCD window will read
"
EXIT AND LOCK DOOR TO ARM-AWAY
".

Unlock the deadbolt
from the inside.
The Touchpad will voice prompt the correct action.

Open the door, exit and close the door.
If the system is Armed STAY and you are leaving
with NO other family members remaining home
:
(If other family members are remaining home, see previous page).
With the system armed in Stay mode, the Touchpad will read "
ARMED STAY
".

Lock the deadbolt
from the outside to arm the system. The Touchpad will sound one chirp to indicate
the system is armed.
•
If the deadbolt has not been locked within the exit delay time period (usually 60 seconds), the system
will revert back to a disarmed state.
•
If the system detects movement inside the premises the exit delay time period (usually 60 seconds), it
will automatically revert to
Stay mode
, providing perimeter protection with the interior protection such
as interior motion sensors turned off. (See
ARMING STAY: PROTECTING YOURSELF AT HOME
-
page 8).
Note:
If you lose your deadbolt key, see page 24 for activating a special "Lost Key Mode".
