NOTE
• Use the extension attachment/boom for
working at greater heights.
• Fit the extension attachment/boom between
the motor unit and the hedge trimmer/pole
pruner. The assembly is carried out in the same
manner as for the attachments described
previously.
Fitting/removing the protective guard
WARNING!
• When working with the 3-section cutting blade,
the protective guard must be fitted. Fold the
metal sheet of the front boom down slightly.
The protective cover is positioned between the
metal sheet and the boom mounting arm. The
protective guard is now attached to the front
boom with screws . Use the supplied Allen key
and the open-ended spanner.
WARNING!
• Do not use any other cutting equipment apart
from that which is supplied with the product. The
use of any other cutting equipment or protective
equipment is deemed to be improper and carries
a significant risk of accidents. Installing/replacing
the cutting blade
• Fit/remove the 3-section cutting blade as
shown in Figures .
• Find the hole in the drive plate, align it with
the opposite hole and block it with the supplied
Allen key
• Place the 3-section cutting blade on the drive
plate.
• Fit the pressure plate over the thread on the
splined shaft.
• Fit the pressure plate cover .
• Now tighten the nut with the spark plug
wrench.
• The 3-section cutting blade is fitted with a
plastic cover on delivery. This must be removed
before use and refitted during periods when not
in use.
• The plastic cover can now be removed.

Left-hand thread!

• Fit the cutting filament protective guard on the
protective guard .
• The cutting filament protective guard must be
fitted when working with the cutting filament.
The cutting filament protective guard (pre-fitted
on delivery) is fitted as shown in Figure.
• Ensure that the cutting filament protective
guard is correctly clicked into place. There is a
blade on the inside of the cutting filament pro-
tective guard. This is covered with a safety cover .
• Remove the safety cover before starting work
and replace it after finishing work.

GLOVES
• To remove the cutting filament protective guard
from the protective guard , take a tool, such
as a screwdriver, to carefully remove the three
mounting pins.
AUTION! RISK OF INJURY!
Installing/replacing the strimmer
• Fit/remove the strimmer
• Find the hole in the drive plate, align it with
the opposite hole and block it with the supplied
Allen key.
• Place the pressure plate on the drive plate. Place
the pressure plate elevation on the drive plate
elevation
• Now screw the strimmer onto the thread.
CAUTION!
Left-hand thread! Putting on the carrying
harness.
NOTE
• The following adjustments can be made to
make sure that you can work without becoming
fatigued. The settings may vary depending on
your body size.
• Before starting work, adjust the carrying harness
to suit your body size.
