SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully. Failure to follow the relevant warnings and instructions may result in
electric shock, fire or other serious injuries.
Please keep this manual for future reference.
Precautions to keep in mind before operation
• The use of battery packs and chargers that are not marked or approved by the manufacturer may lead to a fire or an explosion which may cause serious,
even fatal, injuries and property damage.
• The use of chain saws, battery packs and chargers beyond their intended use can cause serious or fatal injuries and property damage.
Operator requirements
Ensure that the operators of this electric tool fulfill the following requirements:
Warning: Persons that have not read and understood fully the contents of the manual, they must be prohibited from using or touching the
chain saw, battery pack and charger. Otherwise, the uninformed person may cause serious injury or death to himself or others.
• Persons using this power tool must be in a stable physical, mental and psychological condition. If operators are not in a healthy condition, please ensure that
they are supervised.
• The operator must be an adult.
• Operators of this power tool must not be under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
• It is important that first time users of this power tool practice on a sawhorse or saw bracket.
Dressing and protection requirements
• Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothes or accessories. Keep clothes, gloves and hair away from moving parts. Loose clothes, ornaments or long hair
may be caught in moving parts.
• Chips or other sawdust may be ejected at high speeds during operation of the chain saw, which may cause physical injury or allergic reactions.
• Please wear goggles during operation.
• It is recommended to wear a protective mask.
• Wear long clothing and trousers with a protective cutting level. The higher the speed of the chain saw, the higher the protective cutting level must be.
• Falling objects from high altitudes can cause head injuries.
• Inappropriate clothing may get caught on branches, which will hinder and affect the use of the chain saw. The wearing of inappropriate clothing can cause
serious injuries to the operator.
• Please wear tight-fitting clothing.
• Please remove items such as scarves and jewellery.
• Operators must not hover their hands too close to the running saw chain, or serious injury may result.
• Please wear protective gloves when working or when cleaning the power tool and the chain.
• Operators may slip or fall when wearing improper shoes.
• Please wear chain saw protective boots. The higher the speed of the chain saw, the higher the protection level of the boots must be.
WORKING AREA REQUIREMENTS
• Please keep bystanders, children and animals away from the work area.
• The chain saw is not waterproof. If it is used in rainy weather or in a humid area, electric shock may result. The operator will be injured and the chain saw
will be damaged.
• Do not use the chain saw in the rain or in a humid area.
• The motor of the chain saw may generate sparks. In an area with combustible or explosive materials, the sparks may cause fire or explosions. These can cause
serious injury or death and property damage.
• Do not work in an area with flammable and explosive materials.
MACHINE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
The chain saw is safe if it meets the following conditions:
• The chain saw is not damaged.
• The chain saw is clean and dry.
• The chain saw handle is intact.
• The chain saw trigger switch is operating normally.
• The depth of the tooth groove between the sprocket and the chain should not exceed 0,5mm.
• The assembly of the guide plate and chain is in accordance with the instructions of this manual.
• The guide plate and chain are well assembled.
• The chain is tensioned normally.
• The chain saw has accessories installed that are made by the manufacturer.
• The accessories are assembled normally.
