TO ENJOY GOOD QUALITY SOUND

Downmix allows a multichannel program to be reproduced over fewer speaker channels than for which the program is optimally intended. Simply
put, down-mixing allows you to enjoy a 5.1 or 7.1 channel media regardless of how many speakers you have.

In Downmix, the analog stereo output is one of two different stereo down-mixes. One type is a surround-compatible Downmix (Left-total/Right-total,
or Lt/Rt) of the multichannel source suitable for Dolby Pro Logic II, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, or other matrix decoding. The other type is a simple stereo
Downmix suitable for playback on a two-channel stereo system or on headphones.

From the Setup OSD, you need to select, Audio, Downmix, and then ‘Stereo’ for a two channel stereo system.

NOTES

• Refer to the owner’s manual of your receiver as well.
• Before you connect the M55 to other equipment, be sure to turn off the power and unplug all of the equipment from the wall outlet before

making any connections.

• Depending on your Digital sound decoder, the decode rate may be 96 kHz or 48 kHz.
• The output sound of the M55 has a wide dynamic range. Be sure to adjust the receiver’s volume to a moderate listening level. Otherwise, the

speakers may be damaged by a sudden high volume sound.

• Turn off the receiver before you connect or disconnect the M55’s power cord. If you leave the receiver power on, the speakers may be damaged.
