5.6 Lowering the mainsail
1.
Pull on the mainhalyard
to raise the mainsail.
2.
Twist the mast 60˚ while
still having tension on the
mainhalyard.
3.
Pull the mainsail down.
4.
Gently lower the mainsail
and roll the the mainsail
starting at the foot of the
sail.
Always roll your mainsail top down with the topbatten taken out
Prevent the sail from
folding!
