peratures and impacts. Also protect

the motor unit from wet conditions and

persistent moisture.

Do not place or lay any heavy objects on

the device or the connecting cable.

BEFORE INITIAL USE

There may still be some production residues

on the device. To avoid harmful effects to

your health, clean the accessories thorough-

ly before using them for the first time (see

the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).

USE

Please Note!

Inspect the device for damage each

time before you use it. Only use it if it

is undamaged and has been correctly

assembled!

Never place the motor unit on a soft

surface. The ventilation openings on the

bottom of the motor unit must not be

covered.

Never insert the blade attachment into

the motor unit without a shaker.

Do not move the device during opera-

tion. Ensure sufficient stability and hold

the device firmly.

Do not detach the shaker from the motor

unit during operation. Before detaching

it, switch off the device and wait until the

blades have come to a standstill.

The device is not suitable for constant

operation. Operate the cross-blade

attachment for no more than approx.

1 minute and the flat-blade attachment

for no more than approx. 30 seconds

without interruption to prevent the motor

from overheating. Then allow the device

to cool down for a few minutes before it

is switched on again.

L

We recommend also adding a little

liquid to the mixing container when

you want to process frozen ingredi-

ents.

1.

Place the motor unit (

2

) on a kitchen unit

or another dry, flat and stable surface.

2.  Fully unwind the connecting cable and

connect it to a plug socket.

3.

Select a shaker (

1

 or

3

) and add the

ingredients you want. When you do this,

do not exceed the

maximum fill level

(marking on the shakers)!

4.  Select a blade attachment:

The

flatblade attachment

 (

4

) is

intended to be used for grinding hard

and dry foodstuffs such as nuts,

Parmesan cheese or coffee beans. It is

not suitable for liquids

!

The

crossblade attachment

 (

8

) is in-

tended to be used for chopping up ice

cubes, fruit, vegetables, herbs and for

blending, whipping and stirring drinks

and creams.

5.  Screw the blade attachment clockwise

onto the shaker.

IMPORTANT

: The

plastic housing of the blade attach

ment contains a sealing ring. This

ensures that the shaker does not leak.

Make sure that the sealing ring is cor

rectly inserted in the groove!

6.  Turn the shaker upside down and place

the blade attachment into the motor

unit. The three locking lugs on the

shaker must be placed in the matching

recesses in the motor unit.

7.  To switch on the device, hold the motor

unit securely with one hand and use your

other hand to rotate the shaker as far as

it will go clockwise.

8.  To switch it off, turn the shaker anti-

clockwise.

9.  Wait until the blades have come to a

complete standstill. Then remove the

shaker.
