Safety Instructions
General safety instructions for power tools:
Warning: Read all the instructions. Failure to comply
with the following instructions can lead to electric
shocks, fires or serious injury.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
The term “power tool” in the following text refers to your handheld
mains operated or battery operated tool.
Important:
Please note this unit is not a hammer drill and should not
be used as a hammer drill. Doing so and drilling into the wrong materials
could cause the drill to overheat and become faulty. Please use the drill
only as intended and shown in these manufacturers instructions.
Important:
When pressing the trigger ,the cordless drill will spark at the
rear body of the drill. This is a normal function which is caused as the carbon
brushes pass by the commutator. These small sparks are a normal function of
a brushed cordless drill operation
Important:
Upon first use, your drill may cause a odour, this is
perfectly normal due to new components and oil coatings inside the unit,
this will disappear after the first or second use.
