Ambient light background lighting
The ambient light which is integrated in the frame on the rear of the system is a
background lighting that produces a pleasant indirect stray light. You can adjust the
brightness in several increments according to your personal preferences.
– On the remote control, press one of the three buttons for ambient light (see page 47)
or
– Press the
BRIG
button on the system to incrementally increase
brightness.
– Press the
BRIGHTNESS -
button on the system to incrementally decrease
brightness.
Establishing a Bluetooth
®
connection
Before the initial data transmission between two Bluetooth
®
devices can take place,
the devices must be connected to each other. This pairing (coupling) involves storing
the connection keys for data transmission. After that, each playback device or smart
phone will usually be connected automatically as soon as it is close enough and their
Bluetooth
®
is activated.
Refer to the manual of the playback device or smart phone to set up Bluetooth
®
. This
process may differ depending on the device. For some older devices, the password
0000 (4x zero) is required.
– Activate Bluetooth
®
on the playback device and start scanning for available
Bluetooth
®
devices.
– Press the Bluetooth
®
button on the remote control (see page 47) or keep the
SOURCE
button on the system pressed for 3 seconds. The
BLUETOOTH
LED
on the system alternates between red and green.
– Choose

as soon as it is detected and displayed on the screen of the playback
device or smart phone.
– Press the Bluetooth
®
button on the remote control (see page 47) or repeatedly
press the
SOURCE
button on the system until the
BLUETOOTH
LED on the
system lights up.
– Start playback with your playback device.
Establishing an AudioFly
®
/Syncronice
®
connection
The AudioFly
®
/Syncronice
®
connection is usually established automatically as soon as
a device with activated AudioFly
®
/Syncronice
®
function is in the system's vicinity.
For details about the AudioFly
®
/Syncronice
®
function of your playback device, refer to
the device's user manual. The possibilities and settings may vary depending on the
type of device. No setting on the system itself must be adjusted.
– Start playback with your playback device.
Choosing the audio source
If several audio sources are connected to the system via radio or cable, you can switch
between the audio sources and choose the desired source. If an active AudioFly
®
/
Syncronice
®
connection exists, you cannot choose any other source. The AudioFly
®
/
Syncronice
®
connection must be disconnected first.
– On the remote control, press the button for either Bluetooth
®
, jack connection or
cinch connection (see page 47) to choose the corresponding audio source
or
– Press the
SOURCE
button on the system repeatedly until the LED for the desired
audio source lights up.
Volume
You can incrementally adjust the volume. In the lowest setting the speakers are muted.
The volume of a connected subwoofer can only be adjusted separately with the remote
control.
We recommend that you protect your ears and avoid excessive volumes over a long
period of time.
– On the remote control, press one of the buttons for the volume and for the subwoofer,
if applicable (see page 47). The volume is displayed on the system via the LEDs:
The higher the volume, the more LEDs illuminate. Alternatively:
– Press the
button on the system to increase the volume.
– Press the
VOLUME -
button on the system to lower the volume.
