NOTE:
• You must enter at least 1 credit using the COIN button before you can begin the game.
2-Player CO/VS™
NOTE:
CO/VS™ only functions when you have 2 Street Fighter 2 Champion Edition Micro Players™ using the included CO/VS™
cable. Both devices must be powered by batteries or via USB. Link will not work if only one device has power.
1. Gently insert one end of the included CO/VS™ cable securely into the CO/VS™ port on the back of one of the Micro
Players™. Gently insert the other end of the cable securely into the back of the second Micro Player™.
2. Power on both units.
3. On one of the Micro Players™, select “PLAY AS Player 1” and press a PUNCH or KICK button.
4. On the second Micro Player™, select “PLAY AS Player 2” and press a PUNCH or KICK button.
NOTE:
You must first select “PLAY AS Player 1” on one Micro Player™ before selecting “PLAY AS Player 2” on the other.
5. Once players have added credits (at least two required to play one multi-player game) each will need to press START
to join the game and select the character they wish to play as.
Please make sure that the link is not interrupted during play. If the cable is disconnected or disrupted during intense
gaming, progress will be lost and both players will need to restart their units and re-establish link.
Play on a flat surface. The cable and plug can be damaged if misused or if excessive pressure is applied during play.
Improper use will be cause for the warranty to be voided.
NOTES:
• You must select “PLAY AS Player 1” first before selecting “PLAY AS Player 2” when playing with 2 players.
• You must enter at least 2 credits before you can begin a 2-Player game.
• The game will not begin until you press START once credits have been added.
• Check to make sure CO/VS™ cable is completely inserted into both Micro Player™ devices.
• AA batteries (not included) or Micro-USB cable (not included) must be used to power the devices when playing with 2 players.
• A beaten player can challenge the winner again by adding credits and pressing START to join the game.
Powering your Micro Player™ using USB input
IMPORTANT
: Micro-USB power cable not included. Please use a high-quality USB cable with a power source supplying
5 V and at least 500mA. 5 V @ 1A can be used as well.
• Ensure you have a quality Micro-USB power cable and power source with ample power as described above. Gently insert
the Micro-USB end of a Micro-USB cable (not included) into the power port (5 V IN) located on the back of the console.
Gently insert the other end of the cable into a powered USB port. When using this option, you do not need to add batteries.
MENU settings
The MENU button will allow you to access the settings of the device. Here you can adjust brightness, set difficulty level,
restart the game or set demonstration mode sound settings.
Navigate the menu using the joystick. Once you have adjusted your desired settings, confirm the selection by pressing
the SHORT KICK button.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Changing the game difficulty, or demo sound settings during a game will cause the device
to reset and reboot the game. All progress will be lost.
