VERIFICACIÓN DE LA PRESIÓN DE
COMPRESIÓN

Con el motor frío:

• Desmontar todas las toberas.

• Instalar el dispositivo de medida en
un cilindro.

• Estrangular el motor.

• Accionar el motor de arranque.

• Registrar la presión.

• Repetir el proceso com los otros
cilindros.

PRESIÓN DE COMPRESIÓN MÍNIMA:

• Motor nuevo / reformado = 21 bar

• Motor usado = 19 bar

COMPRESSION TEST

With cold engine:

• Remove all injection nozzles.

• Install the compression pressure
gauge in one cylinder.

• Shut-off fuel supply to the engine
(disconnect electric shut-off
or place manual shut-off in stop
position).

• Crank engine.

• Record the pressure.

• Repeat this procedure with other
cylinders.

MINIMUM COMPRESSION PRESSURE

• New engine / rebuilt = 21 bar

(315 psi)

• Used engine = 19 bar (285 psi)
