5.a. Battery recharge fuse

The battery recharge fuse is located under the driver’s saddle. To expose it rotate the key and lift the driver’s saddle as shown in the picture.

Replace the recharge fuse with the spare fuse.

Some of the possible malfunctions of your motorcycle could be caused by non-integrity of one or more fuses.
The integrity of a fuse can be established by verifying that the corresponding wire (visible in see-through) is not broken or cut off.
In the event of a malfunction, it is advisable to replace anyway the related fuse (see phase 4.) if you have doubts about its integrity.

WARNING: Turn the ignition key on the “OFF” position before checking or replacing the fuses, in order to avoid a short circuit
with subsequent damage to other electric parts of the motorcycle.

WARNING : Never replace a fuse with a rating other than that precribed, in order to avoid damage to the electrical equipment of
the motorcycle which could lead to a fire.

5.b. Fuses

The service fuses are located under the pillion.

The spare fuses are contained in the tool bag inside the glove compartment. Replace the damaged fuses by using the tweezers supplied with
the tool bag, with reference to the corresponding functions described in the fuses scheme below.

WARNING: If the warning lights come on or start blinking (see writings in red colour), immediately stop the vehicle, turn off the
engine and contact an MV Agusta Service Centre.

1. Check list - Before starting

It is necessary to carry out the checks described below before each ride.

1. Tyres:

Check inflating pressure (see label on the left side of the steering sleeve)

and the depth of the tyre tread (according to the law provisions of the nation in
which you use your motorcycle).

2. Engine oil:

Check that the level is between the MIN and MAX marks.

3. Brake fluid:

Check that the level is between the MIN and MAX marks.

4. Coolant:

Check that the level is between the MIN mark and the lower side of the

frame tube.

5. Lights, visual and acoustic signals:

Check operation.

6. Fuel:

Check level and refuel if necessary.

7. Registration documents:

Check their presence inside the glove compartment.

2. Starting procedure

WARNING
Only start the engine outdoor, in the open air.

Bring the gear lever in neutral position and operate the clutch lever.

• Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

• Cold starting:

- Rotate the CHOKE lever without turning the throttle

twist grip.

- Press the START button.
- When the engine is warm, disengage the CHOKE lever.

• Hot starting:

- Press the START button.
