4.1.2 Installation space
Install on a level floor which meets the following condition.
It has enough strength to support the weight of the
printer and the stand.
For the weight of the printer and the stand, refer to
the Operation Manual.
(1) When using the media-feed table
(2) When not using the media-feed table
4.2 Installation procedure
Install this product to the installation place in accord-
ance with the list shown below.
4.2.1 Installing the printer main unit
Install this product to the installation place in accord-
ance with the list shown below.
1. Carry the printer to the installation place.
2. Turn the following adjusters in the direction as
shown below to prevent the printer from moving.
Stands: adjusters (4)
3. Set the spirit level on the right and left platens and
adjust so that the printer stays flat.
4. Confirm that the waste fluid valve is closed.
4.2.2 Installing the media-feed tables
Follow the procedure below to install Media-feed tables.
(1) Installing the media-feed table R
1. Attach the rear joint on the shoulder screws on the
rear of the printer.
2. Install media-feed table R so that it rests on the
rear joint.
3. Adjust media-feed table R using the angle lever
and height-adjustment knobs so that it is horizontal.
(2) Installing the media-feed table F
1. Open the front cover and install the front edge of
Media-feed table F between the platen and media
guide.
2. Adjust media-feed table F using the angle lever
and height-adjustment knobs so that it is horizontal.
3. Close the front cover.
