Optional Monitoring Software Installation (For Windows OS)
1. Insert the included installation CD into CD-ROM drive and then follow
the on-screen instructions. If there no screen shows when inserting the
CD after 1 minute, please execute setup.exe for initiating installation
software.
2. Enter Serial No label pasted on the UPS unit to install the software.
3. When your computer restarts, the monitoring software will appear as a
green plug icon located in the system tray, near the clock.
Trouble Shooting
Problem Possible Cause Solutions
Battery voltage is too low Charge the UPS unit up to 4
hours. No LED display on
the front panel.
Battery failure. Replace with the same type of
battery.
Power cord loose Re-plug the power cord.
Fuse is burned. Replace the same type of fuse
Unit always on
battery mode
AC utility is too high or too
low, or there is a blackout Normal condition
Overload of the UPS. Remove some noncritical load.
Battery voltage is too low. Charge battery 4 hours or
more.
When power failure,
back-up time is
shorten.
Battery defect due to high
temperature operation
environment, or improper
operation to battery. Replace with the same type of
battery.
Red LED is on. Battery failure. Replace with the same type of
battery.
