DualLink
The
Musictech
DualLINK
is the natural evolution of MIDI for the Accordion
that has been devised for use by amateur and professional accordionists alike.
The research done during the design procedures of this instrument has
enabled us to take into account all the needs of a musician during a
performance. The
DualLINK
is divided into two main areas, the PLAY section
and the EDIT section.
The programming in the PLAY section is limited to a few basic elements,
whereas all the possible options that a musician might need during a live
performance whether using the internal sounds or the MIDI Out connection
have been incorporated in the most convenient manner.
The EDIT section enables the programming of all the aspects of the instrument
to be carried out, whether connected to external instruments or not.
Furthermore the
DualLINK
is implemented with two USB sockets and a USB
device. By means of these sockets it is possible to load backing tracks, both as
Midi files, that are sent directly to the General MIDI OUT socket, and in Audio
(MP3).
