Front panel functions and connections
POWER button
Press to turn unit on/off. Unit is ON when SOURCE or more front panel LEDs is lit. No LEDS at all
indicate it is in standby or unplugged/switched off at wall socket. Initial switch–on mutes outputs
for approx. 12 seconds while unit settles. During this time the STATUS LED is red.
STATUS LED
RED
mute
ORANGE No digital ‘music’ signal.
GREEN
analogue input or, on digital input, signal detected. Note, some devices will continue to
show green LED when no music is playing, this is perfectly normal.
PHONO LED
Indicates PHONO input is selected. LED only lights if AUX/PHONO switch on back panel is set to
PHONO
AUX LED
Indicates AUX input is selected. LED only lights if AUX/PHONO switch on back panel is set to AUX
JACK LED
Lights blue when JACK input is selected LED only lights when analogue JACK cable connected.
OPT LED
Lights blue when OPTical input is selected. The STATUS LED will be GREEN when AUDIO data stream
is present on the digital feed.
USB LED
Lights blue when USB input is selected. The STATUS LED will be GREEN when AUDIO data stream is
present on the digital feed.
BLUETOOTH LED
Lights blue when BLUETOOTH input is selected. The STATUS LED will be GREEN when AUDIO data
stream is present on the digital feed.
VOLUME CONTROL
Continuous rotation control. The volume control can also be pushed to mute, unmute by pushing
again.
IR WINDOW
When using remote control, be sure to point remote control LED at this window. Always allow clear
line of sight for optimal performance. Try to prevent direct sunlight or close fluorescent light from
falling on the window.
HEADPHONES OUTPUT
Inserting headphones automatically mutes speaker and analogue PRE outputs. Adjust volume to
taste.
SOURCE SELECT (

Press to cycle through inputs.
Note
: some inputs are dual purpose.
Indicated input LEDs will change depending upon the connections made at the rear or the rear,
input switch position.
If a desired option is not available, check relevant input is plugged in, or, in the case of the RCA
inputs, the position of the AUX/PHONO switch on the rear panel.
