Windows 2000 Installation

NOTE: Before beginning the installation, you must obtain the

following technical information from your telephone
company:

SPIDs (North America only)

Switch Type

Voice Encoding scheme

Telephone Number(s)

NOTE: To install, configure, and remove devices in Windows 2000,

your logon permissions must include the ability to load and
remove device drivers.

NOTE: As you begin this procedure, the MT128ZLX card should not

be installed in the computer’s PCMCIA slot. The setup.exe
file must be run before the card is installed. Otherwise
problems will arise as Windows 2000 detects the device.

1. For now, leave the MT128ZLX card out of the computer’s PCMCIA slot.

2. Insert the MT128ZLX Installation CD into the computer’s CD-ROM drive.

3. Using Windows Explorer, browse to the

win2000

directory on the

MT128ZLX Installation CD.
