Chapter 2 - Quick Start

Modem configuration for NT 4.0
1. Open My Computer | Control Panel and double click on the Modems icon.
Note: If modems have already been installed, the Modem Properties dialog box is displayed
(See step 2). If no modems have been previously installed, the Install New Modem dialog
box is displayed (See step 3).
2. The Modem Properties dialog box is displayed.
Click Add.
3. The Install New Modem dialog box is displayed.
Enable (check) the “Don’t detect my modem; I will select it from a list.” box and click Next >.
