TROUBLESHOOTING (GENERATOR)
Practically all breakdowns can be prevented by proper handling and maintenance inspections, but in the event of a
breakdown, use Table 16 shown below for diagnosis of the generator. If the problem cannot be remedied, consult our
company’s business office or service plant.

Check output voltage and replace if necessary.

Check and adjust.
Loose wiring connections?
Check wiring and repair.
Defective AVR?
Replace if necessary.
High Voltage Output

Circuit Breaker Tripped
Short circuit in load?
Check load and repair.
Over current?
Confirm load requirement and reduce.
Defective circuit breaker?
Check and replace.
Overcurrent relay actuated?
Confirm load requirement and reset.
