number

terminals
allowed

be
connected

a
telephone
interface.

termination

interface

consist
of
any
combination
of
devices
subject
only
to
the
requirement
that
the
sum
of
the
ringer
equivalence
numbers
of
all
the
devices
does
not
exceed

present,
are
connected
together.

precaution
may
be
particularly
important
in
rural
areas.

attempt

connections
themselves,
but
should
contact

appropriate
electric
inspection
authority,
or
electrician,
as
appropriate.
