Fuel Water Separator
Located on the driver side engine, behind the battery, is a fuel water separator.
This filter is used to prevent contaminated fuel from injecting into the engine.
To remove water from the separator, loosen the nut at the bottom of the filter.
Water will drain out. Once drained, retighten nut.
Air Filter
To the left side engine is a large air filter system. Always check inside the air filter
to ensure it is clean and not clogged with dirt. Clogging may cause the engine to
not run correctly - or not run at all. Replace the air filter when dirty.
Battery
There is both a positive and negative terminal. Note: When removing battery, al-
ways remove the ground (black) terminal first. When installing battery, always
install ground (black) last.
Oil Drain Plug
Located on the rear of the engine, at the bottom of the oil pan is the oil drain plug
(X). Remove to drain oil. See page 49 for oil change instructions.
