First steps for installing the MUD Cubby Box Locker
If you’re mounting power sockets into the MUD Cubby-Box Locker, the first job will be to drill
into the base of the locker and seat box base plate to route the wiring for the power sockets.
Power sockets should always use a fused supply. We recommend that you protect any wiring that
passes through metalwork by using rubber grommets. Fill in any unused socket holes in the MUD
Cubby-Box Locker with the large 30mm blanking plugs provided.
Select the positioning of the dividers before you fix your MUD Cubby-Box Locker into the vehicle.
Cut the rubber matting into sections to fit between the dividers. Do not fit the dividers or rubber
matting into the locker yet as it will be easier to access the baseplate fixings without these in
place.
The locking mechanism on the hinging Cubby Box locker is pre-installed. The sliding Cubby Box
Locker requires the locking mechanism fitting into the MUD Cubby-Box Locker. Thread the locking
mechanism through the hole in the front of the box and secure using the large nut. The locking
tab should point vertically upwards when in the locked position.
