Levelling the Main Frame
After installation is ready, you need to level the tester immediately. This can
prevent the swinging of its bottom and therefore provides a level test surface to
enable more accurate test results.
Tools
The following tools are required:
• Level meter
• Wrench
Process
Level the base of the main frame.
1. Put the level meter horizontally on the base plane of the main frame.
2. Loosen the locknut of each foot.
3. Use the monkey wrench to adjust the height of each shim in turn and check
readings of the level meter until the levelness is 0.2/1000.
4. Rotate the level meter by 90° to check whether the two sides and front and
back are level.
5. After the equipment is level, tighten the locknut of each shim.
