7.2.11. As dynamic balance weights on the front plate use B-486 or similar.
7.2.12. Maximum balance weight capacity per location must not exceed 180 g.
7.2.13. Weights are to be installed using aircraft quality
1/4’’
-28 bolts.
7.2.14. Balance weight screws attached to the spinner support plates must protrude through the self-locking nuts
a minimum of one thread and a maximum of four threads.
7.2.15. All propellers which have been dynamically balanced must be labeled with a decal on blade no. 1 to
inform service station personnel that the existing balance weight configuration may not be correct for
static balance.
7.2.16. Register number and location of static and dynamic balance weights in the propeller logbook if they have
been reconfigured.
7.3.
Prevention of erosion caused by sea water intrusion
Installation of boots on hovercraft blades for protection against erosion caused by sea water as technical
approvement.
The CRRD358-160 blades are covered with boots on the blade root before the nickel erosion protection
sheath.
The installation procedure of the boots is described in the E-1290 manual, section boots.
